This week in the Rutledge Perspective Podcast, we’re going to be talking about taking action. There’s a great quote somewhere that says, “Don’t be mad at the results that you didn’t get, for the work that you didn’t do!” As leaders, sitting still and doing nothing is not an option if we truly want to make an impact.
Today, I’m going to challenge those thoughts and misconceptions that tend to keep us stagnant. We often view action as making a big splash and taking a big leap. We get frightened at the mere thought of failure and the inability to exude excellence. I’m here to tell you that sometimes action is just taking a baby step forward because a small step is still progression. Also, failure is not fatal, it’s an opportunity to learn! Listen now for tips on how you can get unstuck and take action with your business or in your organization.
